In various African countries, committed people and farmers have joined forces and established networks. They have made it their task to produce these treasures of their homeland, the valuable oils, sustainably - whether cultivated or wild-plucked - and trade fair trade.

This creates jobs, especially where unemployment is high. Women in particular benefit from the work of these networks, because they mainly do the work on the farms. Fair trade ensures that they receive fair payment. Many are solely responsible for supporting their families or can improve the family's quality of life through additional income.

Small and medium-sized farms are supported and strengthened through the work of the networks. In the long term, this leads to stable business relationships, regular income and thus the prevention and reduction of poverty. Social structures are strengthened.
